What did your chickens do to make you laugh today?

Apparently clipping finger nails (DH) is SUPER exciting 🤣

What did your chickens do to make you laugh today? Or other poultry. :pop
If you can't answer this question, go out and spend some time with your chickens and they are guaranteed to put a smile on your face. ;)
When I walked in to feed them the protein I give them, there was a pile of dirt on their backs! Oh the irony of bathing in dirt! They had dug 2 new ones! FLUFF and they're clean again.

Today, the ever-entertaining Valentina cracked me up again. My poultry pay no attention to the feral barn cat, barely move off the deck when the dogs go back inside the house, and let wild birds and squirrels wander around unbothered.

But, as I was taking the dogs out at noon, I glanced over to see Valentina madly chasing a rabbit all the way down the driveway. I have no idea what he must have done to offend her!

This is hilarious! My Golden Comets used to chase and catch mice. :gig Chickens.

Had a HANGRY hen on my hands yesterday. I usually feed up between 3-5 (girls FR all day so I like to give them as much time out as possible) Well, I was running late yesterday and came out at 5:30. Joan, my SLW was NOT having it. She went after my legs twice and then jumped up and bit my hand as I was pouring out food.
She's normally sassy but never openly aggressive like that... she was intent to express her acute displeasure.
Had a good laugh about it after the fact.

I had a similar occurrence today. I ferment my feed, so I give them a big helping at about 10am in the winter, and afternoon in the summer when they can free range. Well Doodle, jumped up in the air to my head level after almost tripping me twice while I poured the food into the bowl. šŸ˜† She pecked a tiny bit of feed off of the scoop on her way down.
Chickens. :rolleyes::lol:
