My daughter had a sleepover with four girls and they are now outside running through the sprinklers with the two chickens chasing them!

haha roosters (brown leghorns) are so comical lol ahaha chickens slowed down on egg laying today because it was really hot here and yesterday it was like winter rapid weather changes mess them up

But what is the orange thing? Is it just a rubber toy with seeds inside?

I bought it at Tractor Supply. It's a hard, plastic ball that you can open and fill with treats that fall out when it's rolled around.

My 6 RIR hen chicks got to go outside for the first time today! they hid in the shade the whole time... and when the sun moved, their whole huddle shifted into the nearest shady area... LOL! They only came out to eat a june bug i gave them as a treat

The girls sunbathed and our top hen met the babies set to go outside soon, she could have cared less since my son was around she was all about him! She even made him crack a snail for her, she is bad has him wrapped around her finger or wing. LOL
