I set a new record for most chicks sitting on me at one time. 8. Most of the time I had 6-7 on my arms, legs, lap and shoulders including one hen that was trying to preen my hair. She sat on my shoulder with her face pressed against my face and fell asleep. It was the cutest thing but I had 6 other chicks on me so I couldn't take any pictures lol.

Most of my chicks are very sweet. I had a mix of each breed on my and both hens and roos and they were taking turns sitting on me except for the one hen. She sat with me for at least an hour. It was very peaceful.

CooCoo my Brahma hen actually got into my house today. She stole the dogs food and made a run for it.

My little roo slept on the roost with the big girls instead of his playpen for the first time ever last night!! Yaaa he's growing up!

Lucy let me hold her in my lap and pet her til she fell asleep I am happy cuz we adopted her from a farmer down the road to keep Pigpen company after he lost his Pookie and she is two years old and used to being "a chicken" they didn't do much with their chickens as far as "pets" go. They were "just chickens" to them so I am tickled to death that she's catching on to the fact she's just a weird looking person with feathers! Lol

Madonna gets to come out before all the other girls. She has her own "doggy" Chateau...she waits til I'm done watering, and then meets me at the back patio for her "dried worms"...she is so spoiled. After that she makes a run for the bird feeders to scoop up the black sunflower seeds that the squirrels have dumped on the ground. She and my house Crow then look for treats on the ground to share. When she's done with that, she's going down to hang outside the coop of LaLa, ChaCha, Jessica and groom til it's time for them to come out. Love that HEN!
