Congrats pigpen! I was impressed that P'Diddy belted it out as clear as he did, never even heard him practice.

My girls had watermelon today and scratched and laid around in the new hay straw I put out for them. And of course I loved watching them!
iamjohn...My Milly got me in the eye a couple of weeks ago and it took a couple of days before it felt normal again. I feel your pain...it really hurt.

It definitely hurt. It's not as bad now as it was this morning but I can tell she got me. Of course I just went out to check on them and she was waiting for me to give her attention. It's impossible to be upset with her about it, she's just so darn cute.

I haven't given mine watermelon yet but I did have some strawberries laying around so I let the chicks have them. You'd have thought it was Christmas.

My two girls are broody so they were just cranky at me when I was filling up their water, and my boys got soaked in the wet rain today. They have a boring life. xD

It rained here as well. I took my two younger batches back to their coop early today. I'm very glad I did, it had just started sprinkling then. But it's been pouring here since. My 9-week-old B.A. girls seem to be loving the rain, as they are still running around in the yard instead of getting up in their coop.

Hehe. That happened to me once, but it wasn't my back, the hen jumped on my head.

To funny would have scared the bejessies out of me til I figured out what was on my head! Rant they surprising!

Normal day with my chicks. Kinda neglected since I wasn't in their coop every couple of hours! Got back from swimming and went to check and feed again. Stuck my cup in the feed bag only to jump back with my heart racing! After our gigantic snake incident I was scared to look into the bag but gather my strength and courage... And 2x4 only to find my little Wyandotte chick eating her fill in the bag! Good lrd thought my heart was going to stop!

I gave them some yoghurt today and now they are covered in yoghurt drops ... Lol
