What did your chickens do today?

My 3 week old blue cochin has to check out my shoes.

The chicks have to check out their new half of a chicken coup.
(no the cord did not remain)

The 6 week old EE's dont seem quite as pleased to share!

Way to go!

I really need to take a picture because it is hard to imagine but this morning I had all 60 plus chicks standing in a circle around my feet. There were waiting for me to pet each of them and acknowledge them. My biggest rooster is improving his skills as master of the roost, protecting his chicks and getting praise. He's really come a long way.

Yes. A picture needs to be taken!

Had all my girls out doing our every evening supervised free ranging. Had a blast watching the two youngest Nola and sarabi who are two months old. One found a worm andRAN with Nola chasing behind eventually getting her half lol

My chicks got to try corn on the cob, you would have thought it was the best thing ever by the way they attacked it. And I was reminded why you don't walk in front of chicks if you have a cut or scab. One of my roosters found it interesting and I found it very very painful. Lesson learned.

LOL John, mine attack my toes if I go out in my flip flops. Strangely, it's only when my toenails are painted.

One of my girls decided it was fun to knock on my glass back door every few minutes and whine at me... If I ignore it she does it louder and this is after she has eaten!! She knows she doesn't get treats everyday.
