What Do All These Abrivations Mean?

Just courios about the abrivitions I see, like DH and DW what do they mean?

Dear Husband or Dear Wife. Of course, the "D" could stand for something else if you are not happy with your spouse.

I thought it was the initials of the poster's relative at first. It took me ages looking at the context trying to figure out if this 'DH' was an aunt, a cousin, a brother, a child...

Also DD, DS, DMIL, DFIL,(Dead Daughter, Dear son, Dear Mother-in-law, Dear Father-in-law)-- you can get the whole famn damily in there.

Thanks for the insight- now to figure out all those chicken breeds, some I know - some I dont.
RIR, EE, BA, etc.
Then there are the turkeys, peas, ducks, etc!
