Ok so I'm wanting to buy some silkies from a hatchery. I am wondering how they look, if anyone has pictures of their hatchery silkies that they could post that would be great

THANK YOU!

These are a few of my first silkies purchased from a feed store as chicks (hatchery breed). They are 7 months old. Sweet and beautiful in their own right but nothing like the ones qualified breeders raise as you can compare them with the ones on the silkie threads here. Hope this helps!

Ideal is where I want to order from, do you have any pictures?

Yes I do have pictures of my Silkies and Easter Eggers even though they are from Ideal but they've been purchased from a feed store

They're usually less fluffy and round, have smaller crests, bigger combs, and sometimes lighter skin than the Silkies found from good breeders.

My partridge silkie from Ideal...she isn't as big as my silkies from the SQ breeder but she has the correct skin and comb color and shape...
