What do I call this comb?

That's right. We're not being super techincal on it, just trying to get a what would you call it deal. Buttercup is the closest of them to call it, though yes it is a cross breed and mix of combs so would not be considered something you would plan to breed true from

no points, just a leader in the back.

Brody's Broodello,
The comb that is on your bird is not a true Rose Comb.
Although your bird has the Shape, Spike and Curvature of a Rose Comb on a Wyandotte it lacks the small points a true Rose Comb should have. (plus your comb has a Hollow Center a major fault)

Oh ok so the wyandotte breed does not have a rosecomb? Gee I will have to go back & tell dozens of national judges that you say that this bird who has won tons of BOB CH RCCLs is unworthy of their awards. And before you ask what fair circuit, don't bother, she has never seen a fair. They were APA & ABA sanctioned shows in MD,VA,NJ,NY OH. Thank you so much for pointing this out to me.

I didn't say the Wyandotte breed didn't have a Rose Comb now did I! What I said is, "The comb that is on your bird is not a true Rose Comb"
Yes the Wyandotte breed does have a Rose Comb but if you would read your Standard on the breed you would see that it stated;

With that being said. Where are the small rounded Points on your birds comb?

Good there at APA & ABA sanctioned shows, I hope to see you there.
