Oh, LOL! Those remind me of mine. NOT shiny, and no umbrellas, but they could have been made from the same pattern.

Mine were a powder blue moire with yellow lace and sashes. And yes, true to the 80's they had large poufy sleeves.

Well my dilemma has been solved for me. She liked the dresses so much she has already ordered them. I spoke to my mother who told me I have to reply telling her how much I like it, and my sister can pick whatever she wants since it's her day. She picked it thinking the other two girls would wear it again.

Ahh the joys of family life. She did order the wrong size for me, so maybe just maybe they don't have my size. I can't wait to see which shoes she chooses, they're bound to be the same colour.

The website says it comes with detachable straps. They make strapless bras just for low-backed dresses. Any bridal store, as well as many lingerie stores will carry them.

I don't think you should lie to your sister, but you should find something nice to say--that you really like the colour, that you are so happy she found a style she likes, etc.

If that happens, elect foot surgery that CANNOT be scheduled any date other than a month before you head overseas, and that requires a boot cast, or at least very specific flat, supportive footware.
