What do I have here?

This was dropped off at the humane society with no back story other than it is 8 weeks old. It had a sibling with a significantly larger red comb and waddles, so I was hoping this is a hen. The sibling was humanely euthanized due to a large life threatening wound under its crop area. It’s about 2 lbs, any guess as to breed(s) and gender? Tail feathers beginning to grow in look dark grey/ black.

Oh boy, I was hoping for a hen, maybe that’s why he was brought in? I will have to find him a new home

I know, I had a broody hatch some and might be stuck with two Cockerel at 7 weeks old... Especially disappointed since I got a lavender americana I was hoping to be a pullet hence why I got those beautiful blue eggs from a neighbor, ughh 2 Cockerel out 2 hatch no beuno
