What do I have?

The first two pictures are of "Moana" and the 2nd two are "HeiHei". I'm afraid that they are both male and I'm not sure on the breed. My friend I got them from thinks they are a cross between Barred Rock and Partridge Cochin but unsure. They will be 4 weeks tomorrow and Friday. The last two pictures are when we first got them. Moana is the brownish/red and HeiHei is the blackish/gray.

I was worried that was the case as well. I'm not sure we'll be able to keep them and not sure how my daughter will take that.

I’m really sure about HeiHei, but not Moana... still could be a pullet but...

See I was the opposite From the feathers on his/her feet, it makes me think Moana needs to be Mowie LOL

Ah, sorry... I don't know much about feathered feet (don't have any with feathered feet, yet...) so...
lol!

Edit: Taking a better look, both are definantly cockerels... if they were pullets, the combs wouldn't be red already...

The combs are really big for their age.... I think their both cockerels.

as an aside, the amount of feathers on their legs is not a way to decide on gender. I don't know of any link between gender and foot feathering.
