About showing call ducks? I just bought a pair and I would like to show them for fun but I don't want to bother if they don't even have a fighting chance. I would love links or books that are specific to call ducks if possible.

I bought them from Faith Valley Waterfowl and they arrived earlier this week, they are Magpie Calls. I was thinking about posting pictures but the drake is molting so I didn't think it would be fair representation. We love them either way but my daughter would really like to show them.

I will go get some pictures to post.

Magpies are defiantly one of my favorite colors but they can also be a bit trickier to judge. Do you have a copy of the SOP?

I do have a copy of SOP....but I haven't read it yet. Is there a big section on calls? I only read the excerpt online. I couldn't get any pictures of my calls. I tried but they are very scared and would shake like leaves when I took them out of the crate they are in (not permanent housing). When I left them in the crate they would huddle in the corner and then they were super fascinated by the green light on my camera so they wouldn't sit still, lol. I will will try again with a different camera tomorrow.
