What do I need to set up a live webcam online?

What do I need to set up a live webcam online? I want to hook one up and want to get some input before I go buying random stuff.

I was thinking about this very same thing this morning. I have eggs due to hatch on Wednesday, next week and I have a cam...just need to know where to host it so that if my chicks start to hatch while I'm at work, I can see!

Depends on the webcam you have, and the programs that come with it. Linksys sells a really good wireless webcam. The program that comes with it, helps you setup a webpage were other people can log on and watch the webcam as well. I use to work at GeekSquad and I got one for dirt cheap on employee discount. Used it primarily to watch my Jeep parked out of my house at night for security reasons. Only down side is you need a wireless router and a high speed internet connection.
