What do I really have here?

My husband bought 3 slikies. But I don't think they are. These have actual feathers like usual chickens. They do have 5 toes and very feathered legs and feet. I love them, the're so cute and friendly.


This is the only female, Hoodini and the lovable rooster Pepper. They don't have the blue ears, or does that come later?

They look like silkie crosses. Judging from how heavily feathered the legs are I would bet silkie X cochin.

They are silky crosses, and the little pullet will probably be an excellent setter and mother.

Pepper makes this cute noise

and paces the cage. When I let him out he'll go to sleep in my hands.
Not to be left behind Houdini will fly out to be with him. I think they are such pretty birds.
