what do I soak my processed bird in?

I have soaked roasts in coke and it really makes the meat tender!!
No it doesn't make it sweet at all in case any of you are wondering.
I don't see why it wouldn't work for chicken?????

If you let it sit for a while in the refrigerator for the rigor enzymes to break down, why do you soak it?

After brineing overnight you also want to allow the meat to rest. That is let it sit in the fridge for 2-4 days. For different brineing recipies go online with Brine for fresh processed chicken.
