If she wasn't eating enough or if the coccidiosis "tore" up her insides too much already to allow her to soak in the nutrients from the feed then yes, it was possible.Update:
Is there a way to find out if Small Fry may be getting wry neck? I'll be posting a picture soon because s/he has her/his head a weird way.
I actually just finished treating all our birds as a hen was acting differently so everyone outside got treated with corid. The chicks we have outside in the chick coop were also treated as a Buff Orpington chick got coccidiosis last week. Also if it was indeed coccidiosis you are dealing with keep Corid on hand for all future new to you birds, no matter their age.
Coccidiosis video worth watching
Great idea. Treat everyone.I actually just finished treating all our birds as a hen was acting differently so everyone outside got treated with corid. The chicks we have outside in the chick coop were also treated as a Buff Orpington chick got coccidiosis last week.
Right now I just have to focus on our Silkie chicks inside getting treated just in case they got infected.
