What do other moms want for mother's day?

With Mother's Day coming up soon I keep seeing ads about gifts for mom. I really don't want anything for mother's day other than the chance to sleep in, just until 7:30 or 8:00. My boys usually have me up about 6:00. I want a nice breakfast and a coffee from my favorite place, and the kitchen cleaned as well as I would clean it. And all the animals taken care of. Then I want to spend the rest of the day with my boys and my husband. Maybe a walk if the weather is nice or a drive if its cold. It snowed here today so a drive seems more likely

I get tired of all the ads and sales, buy mom diamonds or clothes. Mom needs stuff! I really don't like how every special day turns into a chance for someone to make money. Just curious what other moms really want for mother's day.

I totally agree about the flowers! I would much rather have flowers that I can plant, then I can cut some whenever I want.

My son, nephews and niece always give me a rosebush, they know I love roses but in the ground not cut! I'd like to have some carnations this year,, candy striped ones but no one around here has them!

I agree with plantable roses.

OR I'd be really happy with the little tractor for my growing out chicks. I printed out pics of it and left it on the kitchen counter as hintsies.
