Hi, my mystery chick is only 6 days old and doing fine. I looked at its butt and it looks like there is tail feathers coming out. I attempted to sex all of the chicks when they were a day old. My mystery chick was the only one that did not seem like a hen. Do these taill feathers meen it is a he?

I am just joking but my chicks that are 9 days old, some of them have tail feathers about as long as some of my 3 week old chicks. They just grow at their own pace.

It is kinda wierd because it is the smallest chick out of all of them. his breed is frustrating me though. He looks like an ameracauna but he does not have green/dark feet

oooooo my mystery chick from mcmurray looked like an ameraucana too (i gave it to my friend cause she ordered ameraucanas, we split the order) and it turned out being an egyptian fayumis....spelling? they end up being black and white. and the breed grows very fast.
