What do think about cable ties and beads?

Was just wondering if anyone has ever used the spiral leg bands from this manufacturer:

(have them on list as I was looking for wing bands for turks)

The spiral leg bands have a tendancy to cut into the legs.

02/08/2009 10:12 pm I thought about using the zipties also but was worried about them tightning. Has anyone ever put a drop of super glue on them to keep it from happening? Or, maybe a touch of silicone. Wonder if that would work?


That's a great idea CalicoFarm. I was thinking the same thing. It should wprk great fusing the plastic together. Also we have a chinese tool store here (a very small version of Harbor Freight) that carry bags and bags of zip ties in many colors and sizes.

superglue doesnt work on plastic,, it will just melt it,, and silicon wont either..

Does anybody know what size of leg band you could use on an adult golden sex-link chicken?
