Duck egg has about 5 days to hatch..how do you think it looks??

It's dead, I'm sorry. Looks like a early quitter. (Around 7 days or so)
Your egg should like the bottom row of this chart by now.

You should be able to see almost nothing but darkness. Yours is definitely a quitter. I'm sorry. Did you check the temp with a calibrated thermometer and the humidity with a salt tested hydrometer prior to setting the eggs?

No I didn't. I will get one for the next time I try. Do you suggest any in particular?

Oh, ok. That's probably your problem. The readout may have read "99.5", but that does not mean it's what the temp actually was. Most all incubators are off.
Well, any digital type works well. It looks like you have a NR 360, so you may have to do some fancy work to get the thermometer to stay without the turner tipping it over. A small one that reads both temp and humidity is nice. I used an AvianWeb one, there are lots of similar models though.
