what do use to hold ur hard wear cloth to 4x4

I'm building my run and want to know what people use to screw and hold there hard wear cloth or welded wire to there 4x4s or 2x4s to?

I used fence staples, the kind you use a hammer on.

Screws with washers.

I used 1-1/4" x 3/8 galvanized staples with a pneumatic stapler.

I might use staples if I had an air stapler. Screw with washer is quick and more secure than a staple.

..and MUCH easier to relocate if necessary.

Lath screws. Come galvanized, in several lengths for different needs. Basically just a screw with a washer built into it.

I also use the big galvanized staples, or I did before I stopped using wood.
If you want to disassemble an old cage or remove staples for another reason,
I use this awl to remove them. I also use it to remove my J clips when necessary.
