The blue I like best!....Splash roo to dark in the tail and not enough crest for me.....Splash hen not enough contrast. Thats just me, and I am far from judging anyones chicks.

I was never a silkie fan, but saw a pic of someone's blue silkie pullet and now I want one.

There are a lot of silkie colors out there and I have several. (some unrecognized some will alas never be standardizes) I am surprised you chose blue...well not all blue silkies look good some are almost black. My fav is "partridge done wrong" ... lot of red on the wings and or saddle, black head almost yellow hackles/neck, black greenish tail, red streamers coming off their head. Roos I mean.....hens well not so pretty. Gray is my next fav. I want more of both!

sizzles are so cute!!!!! i saw some chicks in the pet shop the other week. someone must be crossing them over here too

I like them all The splash male is nice, he looks like he is a bit out of condition which most likely explains the lack of crest over all he looks like a nice bird. I really like the females, especially the splash, in my opionion she has very good silkie type and good splash color, both the girls appear to have good wing carriage which can be a big problem with silkies, looks like a very good start in blue and splash:0) Good luck!
