Ah HA!! The tail feathers is what I noticed first too!! I told my husband a week after he came that it was a roo. He is insisting that it MUST have laid that egg!! Guess one of the hen's just had a little "extra" egg material yesterday.
Ohhhhhhhh, I can guess what your little one prefers to call those eggs

I think "fairy" eggs sounds nice tho.
