What do YOU call tiny river lobsters?

We've always called them crayfish.

Crayfish here. We even go crayfish hunting at a local river but it's always catch and release. I couldn't eat those things

It depends on what I'm cooking. I'll call them whatever the recipe calls them (crawfish, crayfish, crawdad mostly)

Despite being in Crawfish Country, I'm in camp crayfish. I have been known to call them all three of those, but never mudbug.
