What do you do for a living? Anyone work w/animals for a job???

I work for the USPS as a mail carrier - thats what finances my true love - which are rescue dogs. I am the Vice President of Pacific Northwest Pit Bull Rescue, and have volunteered at my local shelter for almost 5 years now. I also have a SAR / Therapy dog who works a few times a month. In my spare time, I hang out with the duckies and chickens, and work in my overgrown garden.

I also work with the USPS as one of those hated mail carriers!!! and a part-time floral designer. My hubby has been a mason for 20 years! He has had some of his work showcased in a local publication!!!!I am proud!:

I work in a group home with 3 clients who are MR and have Down Syndrome. I love them all. I also sell Health Insurance, but that is getting Impossible.

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I actually LOVE my mail carrier...she goes above and beyond frequently. Plus, she is a horse-person like me so she's gotta be a good egg, LOL.
Oh, and by the way, I'm a registered nurse and I work for a home health agency that covers 5 different counties. Everyday that I work(only part time when I want) is an adventure!!

I own a dog boarding kennel. The hours are long and the work is hard, but I wouldn't trade my job for anything! I love working with the dogs and I have some wonderful owners! It also allows me to close during the winter months and race sled dogs!

I am an ASE certified auto parts specialist, I've worked in the auto parts industry for 21 years.

Once upon a time I was an Animal Control Officer.

When I get out of highschool and college I plan on getting a degree in biology and/or animal sciences. I want to either be a field biologist or a farmer using sustainable agriculture practices. I haven't decided!
