What do you do when it just rings?

I am so used to someones voicemail coming on and hanging up without leaving a message

I would probably go off into la la land and let it ring and ring waiting for the voicemail to Q my hang up.

That is so funny! Just the other day I broke down and had voice mail put on my house phone

. I have finally gotten tired of people complaining that they couldn't get a hold of me. Not having call waiting is a hoot too,...people fear the busy signal!! I would just keep ringing his phone on and off through the day,.he will finally answer. He is probably busy,..most people don't hang around the house too much when they have critters to tend to. Don't give up,..he has goats!
