Aw, on the bright side (in both ways lol) she has got someone to keep her company. I love there names by the way! How is the rest of your flock? Are they all doing well?

Yeah they're all good.
Goldie is cos she's white with gold edged feathers, Mira(cle) because she was upside down in her she'll, nearly died but I managed to find her head and break the shell then took 2 days to get her out. She was crippled from being stuck, but I paddled her feet an she's been perfect ever since. She's golden brown with black edged feathers.

Then there's Teenie (huge an white) Tiny, gold/white/brown
Daisy, brown/white primaries and gold/white mane; Cinder(ella), she's the same as Daisy but with soot coloured tail/primaries. Cara(mel) is same as Daisy, has a slight frizzle back with white/gold edged saddle feathers.

I'm breeding from teenie, Goldie an Cara next year for 2 seasons ..

Heya, she's good today, has been out in the run, had a sleep in the sun, eating for the most part. Chatted to Mira an Goldie for a while. Jess is out with Rhodey now so Penny's in her run. She attacks Jess. Poor wee mumma had a bad night, coughing until nearly 4am. She settled when I turned the towel rail on an gave her a hot water bottle..

The most humane way to cull would be 410 shot to the head of the bird. Thru the years we have chosen to use that for lame elderly and sick/infected poultry. It's never pleasant but quick and painless.
