What do you DO with a Shamo? **PICS**

Egads!!! What a find. I don't know anything about this breed, and do agree the comb looks a little red, but then again buying at a flea market you really don't know age, just what they tell you. I think the general coloring is hennish. I'll keep an eye out to see what those with more knowledge of these monsters I mean birds say.

I don't know anything about them, but WOW, they're beautiful!

I really like the long, lanky looks of them. Now I wnat a Shamo roo so I can name him Ichabod Crane.

Wow! I have never before laid eyes on a chicken like that!

(which isn't surprising because I'm new to chickens and ducks). It looks like a composite of...well...I dunno...

I'd be asking the same question. What DO you DO with a Shamo????

He is very sweet but he does tend to have the perpetual "stink eye".

Haha, I agree nice stink eye. And she's actually 10 weeks old, not 6 or 8. This Wednesday she'll be 11 wks. Now assuming this is a pullet, my mom want's to know how much they lay. Even if they don't lay much I'm still going to keep her, she's worth thousands to me...

Sweetest bird I've ever owned. I'm still not sure Mabel is a good name for her. Any ideas? And what is the difference between a Shamo and Aseel? What is her color called? Is it a mix between two colors?
