What do you do with your extra eggs?

Youre doing plenty already. Good for you!
I would refrain from feeding them to dogs, but pigs are okay. The last thing you want a dog to get is a taste for eggs.
Taking them to work with a donation envelope alongside is a good plan.
If all else fails, cook them and feed them back to the hens.

we give away all our extra eggs to friends and family.

We dont usually have extras. The kids sell them at school and from home we can barely keep up with the demand. We are getting more to try and keep up.

We never seem to have extra's around here. We sell them to different people. So far this week I've sold 14 doz, and three more going out the door this morning to sell.

I have 6 hens and there's just my husband and I to eat the eggs, so I'm often 3-4 dozen ahead. I look for recipes that use many eggs at once and give eggs away to friends and family.
However, I get irritated when I ask someone if they need any eggs and they say, "No. I just bought a dozen at the grocery store." Why don't they give me $2 for eggs instead of the grocery giant? I mean, this is what I hear from my sister all the time. Grrr.

you can make homemade angel food cakes.they take 12 egg whites.you can also make pound cakes.they take 4 or 5 eggs in them.

if you have a rooster and the chicks would be pure give them to someone with 3 broody hens and not a lot of desire for more of the same kind of chickens
