What do you feed peacocks?

I have a peacock that's old. (around 14-15 yrs.) He's always been fed what we feed our chickens. I'm just wondering what you usually feed your peafowl.

I don't have peacocks, but i work at a feed store and people buy the layer feed for them.

I feed laying pellets and cracked corn.

We always feed ours the gamebird pellets for the extra protein

My Peacocks get layer pellets during the winter months, when I start seeing his back feathers filling in I switch to breeder pellets which has higher protein and also treat them with some cat food for more protein. I continue them on breeder pellets through the breeding season with fruit and veggie scraps from the garden, they especially like grapes and berries. Hope this helps
