MissPrissy, how in the world do you have time to do all you do? I didn't get a garden planted this year, too busy with all the chickens! Plus, I knew I was getting veggies/fruits from a local CSA this year. Anyway, tell me your secret!! I would love to have all you have, but I just don't know if I could keep up with it all
I have 2 incubators going. 1st is due to hatch next Wednesday and has 19 duck eggs from my own ducks-all good so far. and 7 April Swap eggs (no idea yet what they are but 3 look clear and 4 look to be growing a chick), 3 of my own EEs, and 12 partridge, buff and splash silkies and showgirls from 'therealsilkielovr/keystonebantams'. Can't wait!
In Bator #2 , there are 3 Cream Brabanters, 12 Speckled Sussex, 13 Silver Phoenix, and 2 Rouen Ducks eggs from Ebay, and then 7 guinea , 6 Sultan , 4 Ameraucana, 1 Buff Orp, and 2 unknown eggs from a fellow BYC member. They have over 2 weeks to go (over 3 weeks for the guineas and Rouen ducks)
I hope to have lots of baby chicks and ducklings for sale in a few weeks.
Lisa
Right now I have 14 eggs from my own chickens in one incubator(on day 3) then I'm getting 15+ BLRW eggs from ChickenHawk tomorrow, 20+ Turken mix eggs from Tiffanyh, and 15+ blue and black cochin eggs from Barnyard. Then after those hatches I'll be looking to get some muscovy eggs
I have 10 EE eggs(they are a cross between EE and Silver Laced Wyandottes) and 2 white leghorn eggs( cross between white leghorn and Silver Laced Wyandottes).I'm on day 17.
