I make hook rugs.

I make custom photo pendant jewelry and keychains. We love canning jams (this is a craft right? lol). Crocheting, drawing, painting, making soap, you name it!

I am still sooooooo in love with this tiger!!❤

And yes! jamming is a craft! If I say it is and you say it is, then it must be, right?

I thought about making quilted dog coats, specifically greyhound coats. I have all the materials besides the hardware. How did you find it to work with putting on the hardware and straps?

I bought hardware on Amazon but mostly I measured the dog that the coat was for and just used velcro. Was much easier as it didn't need to be as adjustable.

I've never made one but I always had the hardest time finding jackets to fit my Dobermans because they had massive ribcages but were fairly trim otherwise (well one was trim anyway, lol) the jackets with the velcro straps that went under her chest were the only ones we could use!

So cool! I'm going to ask a question that is probably kind of dumb, lol, can they be used as an actual rug? Like in the bathroom? Or are these for display purposes only?

I figured that would probably be best. I was also thinking of making soft straps that cross through/under the back legs (just like a horse blanket) to keep the blanket snug across the back and down the sides of the tops of the hind legs. Again, like a horse blanket.

Had a wild notion to put buttons on the edges for those pups who need long socks to go up the legs for warmth, like leg warmers (or pj's) but buttoned in place to keep them from sliding down.
