I love all types of Arts and Crafts. My most recent project, paper flowers. It was so much fun.

I paint, make wreaths with pine cones I pick, bake, clean and paint. I also paint flower pots.

I love supporting small businesses and crafters and there's no better time to do this than when fulfilling a Christmas list! I try to do this every year because I have many friends that support their families by making handcrafted items and I was thinking that there are probably many people that I chat with all the time here at BYC and I don't realize that they too offer handmade items that would make great gifts! So, I’m curious, what do you make?

I love that you make things with pinecones. I toss ours into the fire pit and each time I wonder what I could do with them, lol. Ours are always wide open though so I would probably have to pull them apart to get crafty.

Wide open is better. To make the flowers you see well all the cones really are baked first. Then cleaned and painted. The open ones make the best flowers. I cut them with hubby’s table saw after I bake them then I paint.

You're so sweet, I was just kidding. I'm not going to make someone learn to whittle for my bowl....I mean, unless you want to learn to whittle?

I do do some whittling! Not much though. I would love to get more into it!
