what do you think about aflac?

i want the accident just because my dh is a law enforcement officer, it would be like 20 bucks for both of us.

When hubby went thru his "evaluation" with them - its a pretty extensive application and they did go through family history to evaluate the "liklihood" from what I can recall, however I dont believe that they can decline you due to that factor. They may run cancer markers on you but in the end - no I dont believe they can.

Speaking of insurance while we're on the subject - now would be a great time for those of you who do not have life insurance to get that as well as the same conditions apply for that also as it does for disability insurance.

Our Aflac rep. was just in yesterday to review/change policies for 2009. I have the accident policy for the family and disability on myself. I was unable to cover DH on disability as it only is offered to the employee, she asked what he does for a living and upon learning he's an independent she said he wouldn't qualify. She said that she herself was considered an independent contractor and had everything but disability through them. Granted after the first few minutes of hearing about ANY insurance policy including & especially auto I kinda zone out, it sounded to me like the average citizen could get everything but disability. Worth checking out, we had a small ER claim that was paid immediately, the extra cash was nice.

one of my scouts moms sold it to me, brought it into my work and had it introduced there. It is something that you get taken out of your check as a deduction, your work doesnt contibute a dime, if you leave your job, you can take it with you, and keep it on your own. But you do need to get it though your work to start with, that is how it is here is MA

I have dental is is not the greatest, a bit tricky to get the policiy down pat, and I have the life ins, it covers me for 50,000. and my son and step daughter 12,900.00 till age 18 for no additional cost. I pay like 21.00 for dental a week and like 5.36 for the life. I am going to get the disability one because you never know.

I have the accidental for 10.00 a week for family of 4. My youngest daughter is into gymnastics so you never know and my older one is a clutz and a half and was at the Er about 2 weeks prior to me signing up. I could've received something for it
