What do you think about psychics?

I think this is pretty much the way I feel, and very well said! I do not think I would pay someone for a reading (Only did this one because it was free and I had never done so before). I would, however, be interested in some of their body language reading skills! I think that would be quite useful to know! LOL

I have a good friend whom was born and raised in New Orleans. Grew up among some interesting folk whom 'practiced' stuff for fees such as psychics, palm reading, you name it. She shared lots of stuff on how easy it is to 'read' people, in body language, by key words, starting broad and following their leads; also in paying attention to what they share WITH each other in communicating beforehand, and paying attention to how they carry themselves, what they are wearing, how they wear it, the lines in faces, looking tired. They learned to pick up even on subtle stuff that physicians notice before physically checking them out...the texture and tone and color of their skin. Type of vehicle they drove, even the tread of tire marks can tell a story. If the car is newer, for example, you know they are putting a lot of miles on it. Lead them into the why's. Do they look very tired because they are overworked? Older? Probably have grown children they are worried over or working overtime to pay bills. Look at the condition of their hands. Calloused? Do they look like they sit at a computer, or are outside? Do they look like they get a good workout on regular basis, or can you start picking through minor health issues and zero in? Rings? Desiring a move?

Look at it this way, if psychics were real, why aren't they playing the markets or doing stuff like successfully finding lost children and putting all the scum of the world behind bars instead of taking advantage of people whom are hoping for good news or an excuse to get by with bad behaviour? Save your money and go see a good movie and go out to eat with some friends instead.

I've never seen one in my past and can predict with 100% certainty that I will not be visiting one in the future. How's that for psychic ability?

Now if you ask me about all of those Mothers with their gut feelings.... I believe in that completely!


I was always sensitive as a little girl. I could meet someone and know what the jist of their personality was like without speaking to them, judge their trustworthiness, level of inner peace, ect. But it was because I talked little and observed a lot. Now that I am older and more distracted, my perception is not nearly so good.

I think when good or bad things happen, or certain emotions are felt, there is good energy or bad energy, because we are in fact made of energy, scientifically. Do I think people can pull dates and exact facts out of those feelings? Nope.

Psychics are excellent! At taking your money. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Put any of them into a controlled experiment and they will fail miserably. They draw clues from peoples actions and reaction to get a read before making their predictions.
