What do you think of my Call Ducks?

I think its just the shadows and light of the pic then.. it looks mini mallardy to me... but now I just learned something..easttxchick said Grays shouldn't have white feathers in their mains-

Maybe I should qualify my statement-sorry if I misled-according to standard of perfection, Grays really shouldn't have white feathers in their primaries-not to say that they can't, just that it's a DQ at a show.

All I can say is ..... stunning!!!! You guys are so lucky to be able to buy great quality birds, here in oz we can't get the really tiny call ducks, we are a few years off breeding them yet.

Thanks for all of the complements. I can't wait until they start laying!! I really really want Call duck BABIES! I think I'm going to show them in a couple of months so I guess I will find out then. More opinions still welcomed!

Very cute! They do look like Butters to me. They are definitely not Pastel, although Pastels do look really similar. The Butters are overall slightly lighter (the hens specifically). The distinct difference with the drakes is that Butterscotch are light phase, Pastels are not. The light phase causes the claret of the breast to be extended, whereas in dark phase color's like Pastel, the claret is confined to the breast. Anyway, adorable little ducks!
