What do you think of my frizzle chicks??

I hatched some of Dipsys too. Ya'll correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think they all frizzle but some are cochin. They are beautiful too. Here is one that I hatched from local stock.

I hatched a couple that are not frizzle, too. They're cochins like your pic and soooo soft!

I just love holding the little softies!

Your bird is so pretty!

One of the chicks that I hatched about 8 weeks ago is a black cochin and on his head he has some poofy feathers--almost looks like a mohawk so of course his name is Mo!

Here's a couple of Rusty, Bluebell and Blackie when they were almost a week old. (I think)

Rusty and Ameracauna friend

Bluebell is in the front and Blackie in the back. I wonder if Bluebell will get any grey/silver feathers as he gets older.

Rusty really started to show the frizzle early!

Hooterville, your babies are just darling too. To be such unusualy looking babies boy do they get beautiful. The bird in my pic isn't named yet. Not quite sure of it's gender. Maybe someone might know and help. Bluebell is a cute name, do you mind if I borrow the name for my beauty? I am enjoying the color changes in my birds as they seem to change almost daily and from one day to the next I am tripping on how much they grow.
Here is another pic. This is a frizzle I got from Dipsy.

Bluebell may look like this frizzle as this bird was darker when it was real small. Again I don't know the gender of this bird.

I need to get a pic of Rusty on a white background--just awesome!

Sure you can use Bluebell--After all they are sisters--sort of

Dipsey, we are just loving these guys. Checkers and Mo from my first batch are so sweet. I need to post new pics of them. Checkers just refuses to grow! He's almost 10 weeks old and can still sit in my hand. He also has these cute little cheek fluffs. I have not idea where that came from!

I hope this little one does carry some of that roos color--I think he's beautiful!

I thought when bluebell first hatched she might be a splash, but I don't know what to think now!

Well I will be dipped right back at you. Looks like she has been splisshed and splassed don't you think? lol As soon as she hatched I knew there was something different about her. Oh yeah she was a different color. lol Precious I think. Definately a keeper.

So Hooterville we are related now. lol Can't wait to see more pics though. As soon as this rain stops I will try and get some more of the other sisters. Keep me posted. This is fun!!!

I have some dipsy frizzles that are 9 weeks old now and one of them is STILL struggling with feathers.

I have some more of her eggs ready to go in the bator tonight. I hope I get one like Rusty! The one I have like your Bluebell - my son named Sylver. It's a good unisex name because we thought it was a roo, but now are leaning towards pullet.

They are verrrrryyyy cute! We love them here.
