I said if it began to bother her and cause her pain that I would have her put down rather that having it surgically removed. She found me. She was a stray. She left me 2 kittens in the garage. I have fed and cared for her. But she is 8+ years old and truthfully most vets would charge at least $300+ for the surgery. I don't have that kind of money to spend on something I have no emotional attachment to. She has never liked me we just coexisit. She likes to rub on the dogs to get them to lick her. I think she has issues from being a stray. If you pet her she meows and moves away.
I would be happy to give her to someone if you want her. I have 3 other cats and they all have attachments to me. She is just a loner. She just wants a warm place to sleep, good food, and a clean litter box. That is what she gets here.
I don't mistreat my animals. I refuse to let them live in pain. But sometimes you have to weight your feelings for something verses the money it costs to prolong their life. She has lived a happy life. She gets what she wants. If she wanted attention from me and comes to me she would get attention. She just chooses not to.
