    Ducks, Geese, Chickens, Swans?

I want a loving pet. To hatch. Also if you have any to offer. I have ten dollars. For one. Lost all my ducks this morning.

I have fertile duck eggs, but not sure they would make the best pet. I think chickens are more friendly but then I have never raised swan or geese.

I don't know where you live and I have never shipped eggs before so I have no idea how much shipping is but I could maybe ship you some duck eggs. They are mixed though, so mutt ducks!

I am sorry you lost all your ducks this morning. How sad! [IMG]

I am sorry to hear about your ducks [IMG]

My chickens (buff orpingtons) are far tamer than my ducks. They come running when I call them and they follow me all around. They'll also let me pet them. My ducks are fun to watch, very entertaining but they are less interested in people than the chickens are.

Depends on what is important to you. What really matters is how they are raised.

If you plan to incubate eggs, maybe you could find some locally? Your hatch rates may be better with local eggs than with shipped eggs.

Silkies are pretty docile and make nice pet chickens

I'd be happy to send you a box full of Indian Runner Duck eggs for $10 to help with shipping. We love them. They are cute and hilarious. (Everyone is probably sick of hearing about them by now). I could send you a dozen, if you like.

I'm going to the post office this afternoon, so let me know as soon as you can so I can pack them and give you my PayPal information. I was going to just boil a pot of duck eggs to feed the geese since my bators are all full, but if you can use them, great!

    Either a silkie/cochin/brahma/millle fleur d.uccle or a pekin/muscovy duck.
Those have been my best pets

Hey - how about a cockatiel? [IMG] Not that I'm biased...but they do make great pets. VERY affectionate!
