What do you use to snip a chickens feathers so you can access a wound easier??

My chick has a big nasty wound and I don’t know what to use to snip off some of the feathers. It is quite difficult at the moment to reach the wound becuase it goes so far down. Thank you in my advance!!

I just use scissors, smaller ones are easier to get into tight areas.

Nail scissors are good. I use baby nail scissors which are rounded at the ends to prevent accidentally poking the skin when cutting.

Agreed. Nail clippers will be easier to reach and avoid areas.
