What do you use to treat your ducks for lice and worming?

What’s the dosage for ducks and geese? Also is there a wormer that can be dropped on their skin?

The ivermectin dose I use for lice is 1 mg per kg of body weight.
The albendazole dose I use for worms depends on the worms I want to treat.

What cattle, sheep, and horse de-worming products are available in Australia? Let me know what you can get there and I can recommend something.

Does she have access to deep water to clean her nostrils out? I've noticed call's that have had a lack of water to bathe in will make a sneezing/coughing noise.

Yes she did but she mustn’t have used it. I took her and filled up a bowl deep enough with water and she cleaned out her nostrils. She didn’t cough as much afterwards.

Clean the bedding out and buy a mite and lice spray to treat the empty house out. I don't treat my Ducks. Just the area they are sleeping in. I also never worm my Birds either. Get them bathing more.

I have kiddies pools full of water they can access. But she just hasn’t learnt how to get up yet. I will clean out the enclosures today and spray for lice.

Do you think she might have a respiratory infection?

I hope not, but I’m not entirely sure. I’ve had other ducks cough a bit as well, so it looks like they could possibly have something.

Also, one of my calls has been coughing a lot. She sounds like she has liquid stuck in her? What can I do for her? Thanks

Let them bath. Deep water is needed. Possibly needs a bit of Grit tossed on the ground too.

Litres? I don't know! I'm in gallons here so it holds about a 5 gallon pail or more.
Just more places to play in water is needed..
