I too had this problem. The very reason I hooked up with the GFM (golden feather member) thingy was to get the extra storage space.

Storage for each member cost money an a server such as the BYC is running on.

If you can scrape up the 12 or 20 bucks if really is worth the effort.

I have as many pictures (and a lot of smileys) and I am only at about 8 percent. I think you get 25 MB of storage if that means anything, it is about 10 times the amoutn I had.
