What do you "waste" money on???

My husband and I are really really big on our dates. We make a huge deal out of them and go about twice a month on really nice well-planned events. LUCKILY we became a member of this local deals club and we get a lot of discounts. Like next month we're going on a dinner date in a super posh restaurant (the kind that foams things, hahaha) with a five course dessert sampling and a bottle of wine.... $49. So our 'wasted' money on dates isn't much these days, yay!

My husband loves his cable TV. I think it's a waste, but he doesn't ask for much ever - so it's his.

I don't tend to 'waste' much - I buy a lot of things I need or are helpful or can do 3 things at once so I can throw out 3 things. Every Sunday (the day after I work until 4am normally) I MUST have my Coffee Club breakfast. I'm sorry, but it's just this huge symbol of 'bloody hell I'm glad work is over' that if I don't do it, I start panicking I still have to go to work, hahaha. It's not the same breakfast every time, just the same place - every Sunday. might be toast, might just be a coffee. But if it's Sunday and I have sunglasses on and look like I have a hangover (it's NOT, I just work hard you silly waitresses!) then you can guarantee I'm at the Coffee Club.

Actually I probably waste a lot of money baking - I love love love love baking, but I hate sugar and sweets. I will have the tiniest slice to make sure it tasted good and to figure recipes and then I'll make something else, leaving my husband to fend for himself with an entire three layer cake. I never could figure out what he saw in me...

I also waste money on liquor - I buy it for cooking and never drink it. So many wasted bottles of red.... anybody here love red wine and cake?

Oh yeah and I bought a Kindle thinking my book consumption would now be cheaper....

and then I realized I now have access to all the books in the world and a single press to access my credit card to buy it.

things that will not last long, probably break. kinda an eyeball opener that i shouldnt buy a toy everytime, the kids and I go out. i have been good the last few store stops. other than that, we are strict on how we use our money, its a blessing just to have some. ha . when we do go grocery shopping, i do buy the good food. i want to have a happy filled tummy family. ha again.

Star magazine, OK magazine........you get the idea. I love to take a hot bath a night and read trash mags. It's my guilty pleasure.

Like a lot of others that have posted, I don't have money to 'waste' & the things I spend it on may be considered as wasteful by some, but not to me.
I guess the only thing I really spend money on is my cable. I justify it because I am not the only one in the house watching it (even though I am the CFO) & the fact that I work odd hours. there's usually not much on when I'm up & at home so it does come in handy now & again.
My expendable income is simply spent on something I enjoy--my animals. I don't have fancy tastes when it comes to clothes/shoes (although I do have a thing for boots)--jeans/overalls & t-shirts are my favorite choice. I own at least 4-5 pr of overalls & 3 pair of jeans. OK, just thought of something else--my FAVORITE unnecessary item is FOOTIE PAJAMAS! I own at least 10 pr & try to buy (at least) 1 new pair every winter.
