What do you wear on your feet, to the coop ?

Depends....(no - I'm not wearing Depends!!!!!) but I have a pair of crocs at the backdoor from garage to yard, a pair of cute (pink with roses) hunter gardening shoes that mostly stay on the back porch or when its yucky my old rainboots....Had to throw out my old Teva flip flops, they were pretty worn out. I have occ been out in a pair of birkies if I just closed up the coop door at night... Oh well, just have to clean any off the shoes off regularly...

I found these shoes called "Sloggers" they slip on and the whole shoe is rubber and all I have to do is rinse them off there great I got them for 25 cents at a Garage sale then 2 weeks later found another pair for 50 cents
Check them out online at sloggers.com LOVE THEM

"Oh and don't you just love when you wear shoes out when you've been in the coop and you've stepped on a poo and the straw gets stuck to the poo and you have this large glob of hay and poo on the bottom of your shoe? It always falls off in the most embarrassing places...."

I have no idea WHAT you are reffering to <stepping away from the haypoo pile on the floor * >

They tend to stink up your car if left in there cause the petals like to scrape your foot clean then you put your heel in it then the water leaks in your car and it is a pooey mess.... Oh umm like I said I have NO idea what you are talking about!

My coop shoes are varying croc knock offs, sometimes the real crocs but I try and save them and when it is wet out (all summer here) and cold I have slop boots as I call em, they are just rubber gardening shoes that I picked up at the Christmas Tree Store. It totally covers your foot like a sneaker would. In the winter, snow boots.
