Last August, after I had 13 chickens killed in a massacre, my nightly attire was a nightgown, tennis shoes and a S & W .38 in one hand, flashlight in the other. All night, every night until I reinforced the runs and coops! Luckily, our neighbors can't see!

Weeeeelll, in the mornings is when I do all my work in the coop, got my flannel pj's, leopard skin colored boots from Academy, purple robe and a brown beanie to keep the chill off, sometimes if it is really cold, I wear my husband's big blue and red jacket over my purple robe. Neighbors get a kick outta seeing me out there! LOL!

The chickens do not know me without all this garb in the afternoons!
