what do your chicks love????

My two week old chicks LOVE oatmeal, over dried mealworms too which surprised me. It only took letting them eat it out of my hand twice to have them all come running to my hand when I stick it in the brooder. One even tends to jump up trying to get in my hand first, lol.

Yes 5 of my 7 chicks are right there chasing my hand around the brooder. So I started doing the elevator lol. I put my bare hand in scoop up a chick slowly bring them up to me and give them a worm once they eat it place them back in the box. One round if this and everyone got the idea

is it dry oatmeal...instant or regular...whole or ground? I have 2 and 3 week old chicks.

Just regular oatmeal, they go bonkers for it.

have 1 of those red ones that is THE layer and 4 of the silver laced.one of the silver laced has a peg leg so i named her peggy and another is TERRIBLE at sitting but she thinks she is amazing so she takes over
