What do your geese do that make them YOUR geese?

We know Jack's ours because when we go in pubs now the first thing everyone says is where's the goose!!!!

I also know they are my geese when they are chasing the cats around the yard and I go out on the car port and have to step around their "business"! And the cat food is gone!

My geese were my moms origanally. They are now my geese because they chase everyone and everyone else is to afraid to be around them much. I really dont care for them much but I am commited to them. I really like that they come to their names, Charlie and Lola.

I dont have geese, but I am going to venture to say:

They eat my food, and poop in my yard?

That would likely make them mine. lol.

I know my Africans are mine because they are total wusses. It started as tiny goslings the day I had to "save" Schnitzel from the piece of scary bark floating in his water dish.

Just this last week I saved my 10, big and bad geese from a squirrel. Yes, a squirrel. It was scampering around their kiddie pool and they all stood off to the side muttering and trembling until I walked over and the squirrel ran.

They like to pretend that they aren't afraid of my donkeys. Occasionally some of the ganders pretend to chase the donkeys. When a donkey is walking away, they'll run behind with the neck stretched out like they are saying "and stay away!"--but if the donkeys look back at them, they flee.

Oh yeah. So brave.

I hatched my two chinese geese

i luv them when i walk outside they "talk" me non stop and they follow me everywhere and when i go inside they knock on the door its so cute i love it

They're mine because I'm one of the only people they don't attack. Plus, when they are running after visitors, kids, dogs, etc. they immediately stop when I tell them to. They act like everytime I come home or even walk outside that they haven't seen me in ages, and fill me in on everything that's happened since they last saw me.

They also alert me to anything flying around. Last night they were telling me there was a mosquito flying around my head! LOL!

They love their special time where I sit on the rock wall and put my head down to theirs and pet their backs. They preen me and whisper.

This summer they would pace along the poolside while I was swimming, and be very concerned. Talking to me the whole time, making sure I was ok.

Yeah, it is.

We've never had a problem with the geese getting in the pool. For some reason, they hate going into water they can't touch the bottom in! Is anyone else's geese this way?
