What Does A Day 21 Candled Egg Look Like?

She got off them for less than a minute to eat, so I put my ear near eggs, and didn't hear a peep. Do they peep constantly or intermittently?

Mine did it intermittently. It seemed like sometimes they were napping.
Stay strong. Be patient. Leave the hen alone (which is the HARDEST thing to do!).

#2 and #3 are hard indeed! I'm making myself go on errands so we'll give her space!

I have 2 chickens on the same nest.. And they both are really acting up as well when I go in now.. I knew I had one chick hatched yesterday.

I seen one momma running around today.. I went down to check things out plus to get a better look at the nest for number of chicks.

There was one little chick running around, both hens where trying to mother it...

I gently placed my hand in front and led the little chick back to the nest.. where both hens popped back down on the eggs.

I'm hoping by Monday, that I'll see more than one little chick..
