What does cold cause?

    One of my flocks are coughing and sneezing and one hen has tiny bubbles in her eyes my question is when it get cold out does it afect chickens the way it afects humans like the cold gives humans a cough and sometimes a sneeze but does it do the same withchickens and my hen that has bubbles in her eye her eye is kinda gloomy but it could of been that way before........In the pic she looks worse than what she is she just was about to peck something it kinda looks like she is puking her guts out (LOL).

    No, it's not from the cold, it's an infection.

    People don't get colds just from cold weather, either. The germs have to be there already.

    Yep, soon as the cold weather hits, light drops down, humidity goes up with fall rains and more closed up coups, and older birds start to molt these added stresses often bring flair-ups of CRD, (MG,IB,ILT,Coryza ect.) Wild bird migrations might also might bring in germs.
