What does every have as a set up for feeding their chickens? I want to see yours!

...Trying to decide the best way to set up feeders for our 10 chickens that wont waste food, and wont attract rodents. Would love to see people's set ups! Thanks 😊
The bucket keeps the feed pan up high enough that they don't spill the feed. Sand in the bucket made sure they didn't tip it over.

The coop is very secure; it keeps the rodents out for the most part. I had a set of rodents move in last fall. After 7 or so of them drowned in the water bucket over 3 days, I saw no more evidence of them.

If the coop were less secure, I would try moving the table-like platform away from anything rodents could climb and cutting tin cans open with tin snips to use on the legs of feeding platform. Either wrap the legs tightly or make a cone shape like squirrel baffles used on some bird feeder posts. I think those would work better for mice than they do for squirrels.

I've had the best luck with this feeder

My three feeders have ports like this feeder, but the actual feeders are orange Home Depot 5-gal. buckets with lids. You can buy a set of three plastic ports at Bomgaar's with drill bit included. I'd assume TS and RK also carry them. I also put a set of similar ports in a large black rubber trash barrel that lives in the hen house. The other three feeders get locked in the well house at night. I don't know for certain that these feeders are rat and mouse proof, but I do know my dogs can't rob them, and at one time my Sheltie was getting quite portly on my chicken feed until I switched to these types of feeders.

I "think" you can get covers for the ports. ?
